What is virtual reality ? It’s a technique which allows man to explore two or three dimensional, computer generated graphic models. It’s a real revolution! The possibilities in terms of perception, exploration, communication and creation are immense. With a visor outfitted with a miniature screen showing 3D images and a glove with electronic receivers, a person can feel like he is moving around in a virtual environment. Will these new technologies change our attitudes, our relationship to the real world, our very identity ?
