At the strictly women only Salvation Army Refuge, the residents create themselves a temporary lifestyle. For each of them, it is a break from their regular lives. Visibly fragile, Elisabeth, Kadiatou and Aude-Charlotte play in a Salvation Army, women’s only version of “No Exit”, protected from men. This female community brings them liberation or coercion, joy or dependency.
