Demetria, a woman in her early thirties, lives and works in a factory. Constantly subjected to the same noisy environment of whistling, thundering machines, she has almost lost the ability to speak. One day, she has to leave. She is given a job as maid in a church, then as a guard in a museum. In each place, she
observes people’s gestures. She takes the surrounding sounds and repeats them like a ritual. Her behavior is frightening.
