Born in 1881 in Tuscany, this wooden puppet became a boy who was sometimes good, sometimes lying and rebellious. He was to travel the world and be the successful character of one of the most widely translated books of the planet.Pinocchio is a literary classic in
line with Italo Calvino’s definition: a classic is a book that never stops saying what it has to say! There is no place or language in the world without its own version of the fable. This is because the character’s charm is coupled with
an overwhelming vitality that brings together all cultures and age groups.But how do we tell the story of Pinocchio? This documentary brings Pinocchio to life through the many metamorphoses he has undergone (comic strips, cartoons, movies, etc…) It looks at the way he has been interpreted, those who accompanied him and the different worlds he generated.
