Mariol, a poor lonely fellow who works in dump, finds a beautiful gold watch. He thinks to himself that he will finally be able to make some money. But his joy is short-lived: he meets Death, who is roaming around, looking for his lost watch. Mariol gives him the watch and in return, receives three syringes containing a miracle product which allows the user to bring dying people back to life. Each time he uses one, Mariol and Death will meet again….A parody and farce, “MARIOL” is a fable about greed, money, freedom and the choices of a man faced with his destiny. This resolutely modern subject concerns all mortals who are still on their feet, including those sitting in front of the movie screen.
