He who goes hunting gains his place…they’re all going. The law texts are targeted. A law for “responsible and peacefull hunting” was discussed, amended and voted in the French national assembly in March 2000. I followed the work of several deputies in the assembly on this law, from its gestation to its birth on April 4 2000, the day of the vote, I saw how hunting is feared by politicians, hiw it disturbs and divides the majority, how it leads right wing deputies to sign amendments with left-wing deputies, provoking impassioned debates…the benches were full, day and night, of men and women in suits, all talking about game.
