A MOTHER

Marie lives alone with her 16-year-old son. She struggles to keep going, to get him out of the bad places he is in. Too worn out and upset to live her life as a woman, Marie is caught between her ex who is still in love with her and her irretrievable teenager. Between them, words are increasingly rare and love is more and more difficult to express. Violence and rejection take over.
He is a bad son, she will be a bad mother. It’s one short step to thinking that love does not exist…
