In the Wallach family, Grandma is the star. Frankie, a 25-year-old film maker, is fascinated by her 94-year-old “Mamie Julia”, her story as a Holocaust survivor and her joyful personality. She wants to immortalize her as a fictional heroine in her film but has to reckon with the other family members, who interfere every step of the way.
