A family of half-finished characters, abandoned by their author, bursts into a theatre, clamouring to exist.
Pirandello confronts them with a 1920s troupe, contemporary to his writing. Stéphane Braunschweig has chosen to adapt this aspect of the play, and to bring these fictional, timeless beings into the midst of a modern-day rehearsal.
